RICTA is a not-for-profit organization representing the Interests of Rwandan Internet Community. It was formed in 2005 with the objective of managing the .RW country code top level domain and the Rwanda Internet Exchange Point. With our impartial position ensures that we enhance and promote Internet usage in Rwanda. Our scope of work is not only limited to managing the .rw registry and Rwanda Internet Exchange Point but also promoting the localisation of local content.
The Rwanda Internet Community and Technology Alliance (RICTA) supports the Rwanda Internet Governance Forum-RW-IGF as a neutral secretariat, endorsed by the RW-IGF multistakeholder organizing committee. RICTA also organises and runs the technical trainings like Rwanda Network Operators Group-RWNOG in order to build the expertise of local engineers. Our close relationship with international organizations on key Internet related issues supports us make the Internet a better place.

Geoffrey KAREGEYA boasts an impressive 14-year career in the dynamic realm of organizational management and operations, having made significant contributions to organizations such as Anglican Church of Rwanda Cyangugu Diocese and currently, Rwanda Internet Community and Technology Alliance (RICTA). Throughout his career, Geoffrey has held pivotal roles in Revenues generation, Human Resources Management, Business operations, Project management, Partnerships, Business negotiations and contract management.
For the past 10 years, Geoffrey has been with Rwanda Internet Community and Technology Alliance (RICTA), where he has served in various capacities. In his current role as Business Development Manager, he holds the reins for driving Revenue Generation, fostering business development, Partnerships and implementing cutting-edge project initiatives.
He earned his Bachelor of Economics degree from National University of Rwanda in 2010

With over seven years of professional experience, Vanessa has dedicated two years to auditing and accounting roles and honed her skills further during five years in finance.
